The following from the Jewish Exponent is worthy of consideration at the present juncture of Church and State affairs:—
Bishop Taylor has no hesitancy in sending his appeal for the maltreated Christians, natives, and others in Africa direct to the State department. In due time we shall proceed to bulldoze the little fellows. And Russia still poses as our friend and ally, and a highly Christian nation! Not a word against its criminal atrocities on a helpless nation!
