GOD AND MAN.

By Rev. James Yeames

"What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" Ps. 8:4.

"THOU ART MINDFUL OF HIM."

MAN in the heart of God, Thought of, remembered, beloved; "Mindful of him"—thus thy care, Constant and kind, we have proved. "Mindful"—with lavish providing, "Mindful"—with tenderness guiding, "Mindful"—how blest our abiding, Held in the heart of God!

"THOU VISITEST HIM."

God in the heart of man, Welcomed, and worshiped, and loved, Wonderful mercy divine Which toward humanity moved! "Visited"—Jesus descending, "Visited"—angels defending, "Visited"—Spirit attending, God in the heart of man.
