Just in time to get it into this issue comes the article from W. H. McKee, Esq., found on page 858, entitled "Will Switzerland Imprison Pastor Holser?" The article contains the answer. Here are two countries,—Switzerland and the United States,—republics, both of which have long boasted of their liberty, imprisoning men for following Christ. Reader, Christian, by whatever name you may be called, what do you think about it? Is it in accordance with the Golden Rule? Is it like Christ? Is it not the fulfilling of prophecy?
