The Mission Hymnal

"The Mission Hymnal," words and music edition. Full red cloth, stamped in ink. Single copies 35 cents; $25.00 per 100. Bigelow & Main Co., 156 5th Ave., New York.

This book was adopted by the general convention of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, last October, and is the result of three years' work on the part of a commission appointed for that purpose. This is the first time that a book of Gospel hymns similar to those used by Moody and Sankey has received the official sanction of the Methodist Church. There are 183 carefully selected hymns in the book, really a selection of those that have been quite fully tried and are found to be popular and telling. One wishing more information concerning the reduction in prices can address Allen Sankey, president, care above address.
