National Educational Association Convention

San Francisco is making elaborate preparations to welcome and entertain over 50,000 educator delegates from every State in the Union, Canada, Cuba, and the Hawaiian Islands in the Forty-Ninth Annual Convention of the National Educational Association, which meets in that city from July 8 to 14. It is expected to be the most important gathering in the history of the association. The citizens, through the San Francisco Convention League, have appropriated $25,000 for this purpose. Every railway in the United States and Canada has granted the lowest rates ever offered on any occasion.
