3758 — After the Likeness of God

In what respect was man created after the likeness of God? E. H.

First, physically so, it would seem by comparing Gen. 1:27 with Gen. 5:1, 3. He was of god-like form. And secondly, in righteousness and true holiness he was created for a character like that of God. Eph. 2:10; 4:24.
