On the Way.

A NOTE from Brother J. E. White, dated Council Bluffs, November 5, announces that the writer, accompanied by Elder J. H. Waggoner and four employees for the Pacific Press, was on the way for California, and expected to arrive in Oakland this week. We congratulate our readers on the fact that Elder Waggoner comes to labor in the editorial department, as his experience and ability in that line are well known and generally recognized. And the churches of Oakland and San Francisco will gladly welcome him back to their pulpits, after an absence of about a year and a half from the coast. Brother White has been absent nearly three months, and with the exception of a brief tour in Colorado, has been visiting Battle Creek, Chicago, and other places, looking after important matters connected with the various departments of the Pacific Press. We expect him to return well stored with valuable information, and prepared to take hold of the work in good earnest.
