Yukon Natives in Desperate Circumstances

The commander of the U. S. revenue cutter Nunivak, which has been commissioned to carry supplies to the destitute natives along the Yukon River, reports that nine-tenths of them are sick, and deaths are rapid. He estimates that there are about 2,600 natives in the Yukon district, and all are in desperate circumstances.
