The first issue of the "Sheldon Edition" of the Topeka Capital starts out with a resolve and prayer by Bishop Vincent, on the first column of the first page. It is a good sentiment. But he who left his morning prayer till he received his paper, never prayed it. True, effectual prayers do not need such prompting.
