To Preserve the Teeth.

To preserve and beautify the teeth use the following solution daily: Dissolve two ounces of borax in three pints of water; before this is quite cold, add thereto one teaspoonful of tincture of myrrh, and one teaspoonful of spirits of camphor; bottle the mixture for use. One wineglassful of the solution added to half a pint of tepid water is sufficient for each application. This not only produces a pearl-like whiteness, but arrests decay, and induces healthy action in the gums, besides extirpating tartarous adhesion.
