Preach the Word

"Preach the Word." That is the command of Inspiration. The creed thrown over the church is the bushel turned over the candle. The church can well afford to let the creed go—it can not afford not to. Banish tradition, banish the creed, and let the church and the world have the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ, untrammeled, unfettered, unhindered. Preaching creeds may win numbers; but preaching the Gospel of God will win souls. "Preach the Word."
