Public Opinion in Israel

It may be well to recall a few instances of the work of Public Opinion from the authentic records of the past. When the twelve spies came back from Canaan and reported to the children of Israel, Public Opinion among them said that the Exodus from Egypt was a failure, and God's plan was a mistake. Two of the spies stood for God and His promises; but had it not been for God's manifestation of power, Public Opinion would have stoned to death the loyal.
