OBITUARY.

DIED, January 24, 1880, sister Jenny, wife of Franklin Gleason.

Sister Jenny enlisted in the great work of her Master at the age of 18, joined the Baptist church, and has ever been a devoted Christian. A little over one year ago, under the preaching of Elder A. T. Jones, she joined the Seventh-day Adventist church at Eugene City, Oregon, where she remained until death. She leaves a husband and son, and many friends, to mourn their loss. We miss not only a devoted wife and mother, but a kind and affectionate sister, but we mourn not as those without hope, for "blessed are the dead who die in the Lord."
