Follow Your Honest Convictions

By Horace Bushnell

NEVER swerve, in your conduct, from your honest convictions. Decide because you see reasons for decision; and then act because you have decided. Let your actions follow the guidance of your judgment; and if, between them both, you go down the falls of Niagara, go! It is the only cause worthy of a man.
