ASPIRATIONS.

BY L. D. SANTEE.
LORD, let Thy Spirit its fulness impart, Make me and keep me like Thee; Come, blessed Jesus, and reign in my heart Till Thy dear face I shall see.
So may my feet, as the years roll away, Walk where my Saviour's have trod, Bearing life's burdens through each coming day, Strong in the strength of my God.
Tho all the wiles of the earth may allure, Saviour, I'm trusting in Thee; Earnest, devoted, and loving and pure, So may my life ever be.
Till that glad morn when the clouds flee away Keep me, Thou Saviour divine, Give me Thy strength for my duties each day, So shall Thy Spirit be mine.
