Elmira Sunday-Law Controversy
Elmira, N. Y., has been a storm-center for the last few weeks over Sunday laws, their benefits, and otherwise. The Sabbath (?) Association of New York State, on the one side, and the Religious Liberty Association on the other, have waged strenuous warfare through the press and from the pulpit and platform. Mass meetings have been held, and the Religious Liberty people seem to have the best of it. The importance of the question can not be overestimated.
