VisITED the brethren at Peru April 5–11, organized a church of nine members. Nearly all of them adopted the tithing system. The circulating library of Sister White’s writings was purchased, and a Sabbath-school and tract society were established among them. Three were baptized. April 11 to 17, we visited the church at Harrisonville, fourteen miles south west of Independence. All the officers of this church had moved away, yet with a commendable zeal they had kept up their meetings. One more had commenced to keep the Sabbath. J. H. Cook.
