For many years, Seventh-day Adventists have taught that Turkey will eventually come to its end as a nation. Hundreds and thousands of sermons have been preached by their ministers, telling the world this truth from the prophecies. More than once there have been world movements that seemed on the verge of bringing about the fulfillment of the prediction. Though as yet the day of destiny has not dawned, it grows momentarily nearer. Into ever narrowing areas, the Turkish nation has been crowded; and recent years have been ominous regarding the soon-coming hour of ruin and downfall.
