The Commandments in the New Testament
By James White
We want no better guide. The New Testament scriptures are plain. We have space for three texts only. "If thou wilt enter into life keep the commandments."—JESUS "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."—JOHN. "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the City."—Rev. xxii, 14. Providence permitting we will be at New Ipswich, N. H., Jan. 8th and 9th, at Washington, the 11th and 12th, and at Waterbury, Vt., the 18th and 19th.—At this season of the year General Conferences will not be convenient, therefore, we hope to be able to hold meetings in a number of places in N. H. and Vt., and hope that the brethren from towns near by such meetings will come together. The "Review and Herald" will be published occasionally in our absence. All communications relating to the paper, should be directed to James White, Paris, Me. Letters requiring an immediate answer, may be directed to Waterbury, Vt., JAMES WHITE.
