Thou Lovest Me

By Worthie Harris Holden
"We love . . . because He first loved us."
THOU lovest me—no other Could die to purge my soul, Nor, infinite in mercy, Declare the sinner whole.
Thou lovest me, alluring My truant love to Thee. I would be Thine forever, And love eternally.
Thou lovest me, ennobling My will to be like Thine. May I, Thy love beholding, Reflect Thy light divine.
O mighty Love, imbuing My soul with power to live, Let me, with love o'erflowing, To others freely give!
