Our Allegiance to the State

The article, "Our Allegiance to the State," from the text, "Render unto Cæsar the things that are Cæsar's, and unto God the things that are God's," definitely defines every man's obligation to civil authority. It states, "God has ordained civil authority." "The powers that be are ordained of God." Rom. 13:1. Further, by interesting examples it emphasizes the priceless value of religious freedom over which civil authority should have no control.
