The Coming of Christ.

What the Bible Says.

1. What did God do when the proper time came? "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons." Gal. 4: 4, 5.
2. When the fulness of time comes, what shall we again see? "And there shall be signs, . . . and then shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." Luke 21: 25-27.
3. Will He not come by proxy? "The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven." 1 Thess. 4: 16.
4. Will it not be a spiritual coming? "This same Jesus . . . shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven." Acts 1: 11.
5. How did they see Him ascend into heaven? "He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight." Acts 1: 9.
6. How will He come again? "In a cloud with power and great glory." Luke 21: 27.
7. How many shall see Him? "Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him." Rev. 1: 7.
8. How great will be the glory of that coming? "In the glory of His Father with His angels." Matt. 16: 27. "In His glory and with all the holy angels with Him." Matt. 25: 31.
9. How will His people receive Him? "And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation." Isa. 25: 9.
