THESE places have for many years had a wide reputation as headquarters for Spiritualism. Although there is at present but little excitement over this doctrine, yet it is evident that the delusive leaven is working. As a result of labor here, and some efforts put forth at Locke, eight are now striving to keep all the commandments. One of these is a Baptist minister; another is a lady who was once a spirit medium. We believe others here will yet take a decided stand for the truth. G. D. Ballou.
