The Second Advent

1. What testimony is offered concerning the coming of Christ to this world?
So Christ was ONCE OFFERED to BEAR the SINS of many. Heb. 9:28.
2. In what form did He come?
And the Word was MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only-begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14.
3. Of what was He born?
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, MADE OF A WOMAN, made under the law. Gal. 4:4.
4. How did He leave this world?
And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a CLOUD RECEIVED HIM out of their sight. Acts 1:9.
5. Do the Scriptures say anything regarding His coming again?
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall HE APPEAR THE SECOND TIME without sin unto salvation. Heb. 9:28.
6. Of what do they positively assure us?
Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? THIS SAME JESUS, which is taken up from you into heaven, SHALL SO COME IN LIKE MANNER as ye have seen Him go into heaven. Acts 1:11.
