Aeroplanes and Warfare.

We are pleased to place before our readers photo-reproductions connected with the firing of an explosive projectile from a flying-machine for the first time in the history of man. One photo presents the actors as they were about to start; the other the hole in the ground made by the bomb. For the latter photo we are indebted to the San Francisco Examiner; for the former to Lieutenant Crissy himself, who devised the bomb and hurled it from the aeroplane. The interview he granted to our representative is given in connection with the illustration.
