THE days of grief, of strife and fear, Will soon forever cease; Then every one, if faithful here, Will have eternal peace.
No more shall trials or days of gloom Assail with anxious care, When Christ Himself shall rend the tomb And take His jewels rare.
O, may we now with joyful heart Expect our coming king; Then we shall meet, no more to part, And with the angels sing.
