The Peace of Christ

THE peace of Christ is more than a condition. It is a gift. "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27. The reception of this gift of peace does not depend upon external conditions. It is not governed by circumstances. Christian, accept this gift of peace from Christ, and let your troubled, fearful heart be at rest. J. L. MCELHANY.
