Warning of Noah

3047.— Warning of Noah.— G. C.— The Bible proof that Noah was warned for one hundred years or more is found in Genesis 6. We know of no other. It is there stated by the Lord, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for that he also is flesh: yet shall his days be a hundred and twenty years." Verse 3, American Standard Version. Presumably the Lord revealed that to Noah, gave him the message that he was to give to that wicked and gainsaying generation, so that he was warned not simply for a hundred years, but a hundred and twenty years, and he passed the warning on to others.
