Great and Little Things.

We cannot often do great things, but we can do some little good thing every day. A word fitly spoken, a cup of cold water given in the name of a disciple, a crumb afforded to some starving sufferer—all these are small to those who do them, but they may be very great to those to whom they are done, and it is the aggregate of such deeds that make up a benevolent life. A rain drop is small, but it is equal to any and all of its kind, the multitude of which water the fields and swell the floods.—United Presbyterian.
