Appeals of the Suffering and Destitute
By Editor
IN the midst of plenty and of peace, it is difficult for us to realize the suffering of the homeless, starving millions of war-stricken Europe. Their appeals are coming to us for bread and for clothing to keep them from perishing. These appeals must not be disregarded. It is our duty, under such circumstances, to help to the limit of our ability. We seek to keep this matter before our readers each week, because it is urgent. Offerings designed to help these suffering ones, may be sent to the treasurer of the Pacific Press Publishing Association, Mountain View, California, and they will be promptly forwarded through our regular organization to assist in this most necessary work.
