3206.— All of the Commandments

By Editor

Please give me all the commandments in the Bible, be the commandments ever so slight.

We have not space to publish a Bible. Our querist will have to take some unabridged concordance and trace through such words as "law," "commandment," "precept," etc. Then he will not get all the commandments. The word "commandment" and its derivatives alone occur in the Bible not less than 800 times. The Lord says through Hosea, "Tho I write for him My law in ten thousand precepts, they are accounted as a strange thing." Hosea 8:12, R.V. The text is suggestive of what the Bible is. It is God's law drawn out in all manner of precepts. To learn the commandments in the Bible, read the Bible.
