The Signs of the End

Look at yonder budding tree, and tell us, skeptic and unbeliever, do you know that Summer is nigh? So likewise are we commanded to know from the unfolding signs and tokens of the end that it is near even at the doors. On every blade of springing grass, in every budding tree, in every unfolding leaf, the Saviour's impressive parable of the fig-tree is written out before us. "So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it (margin, he, Christ) is near even at the doors."
