THE beautiful, beautiful throne of our God, With its glimmering, glorious glow, On the sides of the North of the Mount of the King, Where the roses and lily-flowers grow!
The beautiful River of Life over there, Flowing down from the throne of the King, To the left and the right, sparkling clear in the light, Through all of earth's June-time and spring!
O, the beautiful songs of the saints of our God In that land of immortal delight, Swelling up to the dome of that rapturous home Through life's splendorous ocean of light!
The beautiful hills and valleys of rest! Heart of man, you can never conceive The richness and glory the Lord has prepared For all who will trust and believe.
