Living for Love and Duty

I LIVE for those who love me, Whose hearts are kind and true, For the Heaven that smiles above me And waits my spirit too; For the human ties that bind me, For the task my God assigned me, For the bright hopes left behind me, And the good that I can do.
THE beginning of folly, and the first entrance on an irregular course of life, cost some pangs to a well-disposed heart; but it is surprising to see how soon the progress ceases to be impeded by reflection, or slackened by remorse.
