Becometh Thine House

"HOLINESS becometh Thine house, O Lord." This beautiful scripture is usually taken as referring chiefly to conduct in the house of God — a reverent attitude of mind, carefulness in refraining from all that would be unseemly or contrary to the spirit of a place where God is worshiped. But it surely includes the further thought that the people who come together thus to worship should themselves be holy. To be a Christian means to live a holy life — a life separate from the world, wholly devoted to the Lord Jesus. M. E. OLSEN.
