That I May Serve Thee

By Worthie Harris Holden
SET Thou a seal, O Lord, upon my heart. So shall my life Thy love divine impart. Then faltering lips will firmly voice Thy praise, While deeds of kindness shall complete my days, Ascribing glory to Thy wondrous ways.
No service could I render fit for Thee, Who art the source of heaven's majesty; But Thou canst use me to extol Thy grace, That I may serve Thee in my lowly place, Until I see Thee, Saviour, face to face.
Divine Thy mercy, wonderful Thy love. Exalted are Thy thoughts, all thoughts above. But after Thee I can think wonder thought, And through Thee can all righteous work be wrought. So dost Thou answer one who humbly sought.
