A Testimony from a Scattered Believer
By L. H. Rior
Bro. Smith :—My heart rejoices when I read the letters from the dear scattered ones. I find that there are others that are alone as well as myself. O how precious it would be to us if we could converse face to face occasionally with some of like precious faith. I feel very thankful to the Lord that he ever gave me a disposition to leave human instruction and keep his holy Sabbath. I am striving to overcome every evil or worldly thought, word, or action. Paul says, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. I wish some of the preaching brethren would come to this place.
