They know little of their own wants and emptiness, who are not much in prayer; and they know little of the goodness of God who are not much in praise. The humble christian hath a mind in some measure framed to both. He hath within him the best Schoolmaster, who teaches him how to pray and how to praise, and makes him delight in the exercise of them both.—Leighton.
