The Love of God

Could we with ink the ocean fill; Was all the earth of parchment made; Was every stick thereon a quill, And every man a scribe by trade— To write the love of God to man, Would drain the ocean dry; Nor would the scroll contain the span, Though stretched from sky to sky.
