Correspondents must Remember

In writing to this Office, if the town in which they live, and the Post Office where they receive their papers, go by different names, to be sure in all cases to give us the name of the Post Office. It does us no good to know the town in which a person lives if the Post Office to which we direct his papers is of a different name; and unless the Post Office is given we are unable to turn to the name on our books. Be sure furthermore to state in whose name the paper is sent. Attention to these directions will save us much perplexity and trouble.
