APPOINTMENT.

PROVIDENCE permitting, there will be a general Conference held in Hartland, Me., to commence Sixth-day, Oct 30th, at 1 o'clock, to hold over the Sabbath and First-day, and as much longer as the brethren may deem expedient. I am requested to give a general invitation to any and all that can come, whether in or out of the State; and it is also hoped that those who come will arrange their business, if possible, so as to remain until the meeting closes, as there will be important business to come before the meeting, and it is desirable that there should be as many present as possible, especially those who reside in Maine. It is expected that Brn. Barr, Smith & Pierce, will be present to minister the word.
