Meeting-House in Battle Creek

We immediately commence building a plain Meeting-house in Battle Creek, 28 by 44 feet. Those mechanics in the State who wish to give a few days', or weeks' work on the house, and wish to spend two or three Sabbaths with us, will find a hearty reception, and good care at our homes during their stay with us.
One object in building the house is, that State Conferences may be held in it. Friends of the cause in the State (those who would esteem it a privilege) are now invited to assist, either in work or money.
