OBITUARY.

BRO. SMITH: I have just laid my dear father Philander Morton, in the silent tomb. He embraced the Third Angel's Message in the Summer of 1854, and he has zealously endeavored to keep the Commandments of God and the Testimony of Jesus. He fellasleep in Jesus, Apr. 27th, 1857. His age was forty-nine years and eight months.
