A Call to Open the Heart

Bro. M. Mott writes from E. Plattsburgh, N. Y.: "I do thank the Lord that he has been so mindful of me in these last days as to reveal so much of his truth to me. He has led me in a way that I knew not of. O praise the Lord! for he is good, and still is counseling us to buy of him gold tried in the fire, that we may be rich; and white raiment that we may be clothed, that the shame of our nakedness do not appear; and anoint our eyes with eye-salve, that wemay see. I feel thankful that the Lord has not left me, but is still knocking at the door of my heart for admittance. I desire to open the door of my heart and welcome the Saviour in, that I may sup with him and he with me."
“Dear brethren and sisters, how much zeal, how much humility we need to overcome and stand with the Lamb on mount Zion! O that I may so live that I may have a final victory with the saints of God.”
