Bro. Daniel Eaton writes from California, March 24, 1857: “I am still trying to live by faith upon the Son of God; and humbly hope I may be saved with the remnant when our Lord shall appear the second time without sin unto salvation. The Review is still a welcome messenger to me. I prize it next to my Bible. It cheers and encourages me to hear through its columns from the scattered flock; and now and then a letter from one whose face I have seen.”
