WHAT is man without hope of future life? How feeble! how disconsolate! how unsatisfied! Earth it is true, has a thousand allurements, and opens to our tastes unnumbered sources of joy; but in the midst of them there is a certain something wanting to gratify the soul, if the hope of immortality be absent.
