Obituary of Robert Barnes

My brother Robert Barnes fell asleep in Jesus in Hartland, Me., July 20th, aged 44 years and three months. He had been afflicted with fits for about thirty years, caused by the bite of a dog. For a few years past his strength had been failing him, but he was able to keep about until four days previous to his death. But he has fallen asleep to await the voice of the archangel and the trump of God to call him forth to life and immortality. Elder Billings preached a comforting discourse from Job xiv, 13.
