Bro. J. Ponfret writes from Orion, Mich.: ―I begin to see the necessity of giving up the world and the things of the world, and making ready for the soon coming of our Lord and Saviour. It is about seventeen months since I heard, for the first time, the sound of the third angel's message; and since then I have not walked with my Jesus as closely as I might, but have followed at too great a distance. I know it is our privilege to walk perfect before God, and I pray that he would sanctify me wholly—through his truth.’
