L.'s former work on the immortality question, and covers the main ground of the question more fully than that work did. For general circulation, to shed light upon the subject, and to meet the common objections, we regard it as an excellent work. Every brother and sister should have a copy, and read up and be posted on the subject. You should also always have a spare copy to lend or to give to that friend of yours who needs light.
