E. A. Lovell writes from Birmingham, Mich.: "I still have a hope in Christ, for I know that he died for me, and that I love his holy name. At times I feel almost alone in this world, as I have not the privilege of meeting with any brethren or sisters of like faith. But my Saviour is ever near, and I feel to praise his precious name that I ever had a heart to believe his glorious truths. When I look around and see the fearful condition this world is in, I gladly shut my eyes to the world and look away to Christ, who is the author and finisher of my faith."
